NO MORE FEVERS!!!

It hasn't been our best week in the Johnson house!  Last Thursday, Cameron came down with an awful virus and passed it to Kennedy and Clare.  Friday was Matt's birthday, and I had big plans for a yummy carrot cake & homemade pizza with the kids for dinner. Needless to say, we didn't get to the cake or the pizza! Cameron crashed on the couch, and Kennedy & I whipped up some donuts and stacked them together for a hilarious looking birthday "cake".  I was very impressed with the look of my donuts, but I can't say the same for the taste (yuck)!
Clare making her move on Daddy's beautiful cake!
Everyone took a turn for the better this morning,
and we decided to go buy Halloween costumes.
Can you guess who's under this mask?!!
It's CAMERON! So happy to see him smiling again!
And here's my future POP STAR!  Had to get the microphone for her costume too!
In all this craziness, I almost forgot about our trip (or should I say never-ending car ride) to Chicago a couple weeks ago.  We had a great time visiting with family & friends.  Kids were so happy to see their cousins. Can't wait to come back in December!

Happy Birthday Cameron!!

Cameron turned 3 yesterday!  He is the sweetest little boy in the whole world!  Full of love and kisses and hugs for everyone (even Kennedy!)  He is obsessed with anything and everything superhero, so it was easy to shop for him this year!  We tried to take him out to dinner to celebrate, but he wanted to stay home to "PLAY".  He loves to play!  Happy Birthday sweet boy - we love you so much!

Kennedy made Cameron an unbelievable superhero birthday card.
It was Wonder Woman, but you can see that Cameron still approved!
Captain America shield!  Just one of the many gifts!
Little stinker smile.  Admiring the yummy cookies his cousins sent!
My little librarian!  Kennedy had Career Dress-Up Day at school and she chose to be a
librarian, all on her own.  I think she's adorable!
What a proud moment!  Kennedy had a Fun Run at school and ran all 35 laps.
She was amazing and had SO much fun!
And my sweet little Clare.  She is talking and talking more every day.  Her vocabulary is
crazy!  She enjoyed the blueberry pancakes for Cameron's birthday breakfast!!

Getting Settled

I cant believe it's been 2 months since we moved!  Time has flown by!  We said our good-byes to Chicago and arrived in Atlanta in early July.  I'd like to say we're all settled in, but that wouldn't be the truth!  The kids kept us very busy and didn't leave much time for decorating, etc, but there's always time for that, right?  (ha!)

This is Kennedy at her ballet recital in Chicago.  She performed to the Lion King music and had a ball.  She was hilarious on stage, as usual!
Nonna and Pawpaw came for a visit, and we had lunch at the Varsity.  Kids loved it, especially Cameron!  This is his second ice cream cone...the first one landed on the ground!

Trip to SC was a blast, and the kids LOVED the beach!!

We celebrated Kennedy's 5th birthday in SC.  She got a Saige doll and was SO happy.  She also got to celebrate at the American Girl store with her friend Mary!

A very rare moment with these two!
First day of kindergarten!  Kennedy was so excited and loved every minute of it.
She takes the bus every day (7:02am)!
Cameron and Clare started school too!  Clare was a little sad the first couple days, but not anymore!  Cameron's teachers tell me that he's a perfect angel in class.
He's also going on the potty now (BIG BOY!)
We're slowing getting used to Daddy being gone at work for a long day.  It took awhile to adjust, but most days we greet him at the front porch or playing in the front yard.
(most of the time it includes dessert!)

What a week!!!

We made it through the first part of our move!  Last week, we moved into a temporary apartment and out of our house.  Kids are having fun in the apartment and Kennedy and Cameron are SHARING A ROOM!  Bedtime is a little challenging, but we're managing. Looking forward to July when we make the move to our new house in Georgia!
Lots of fun at school before the end of the year!
We celebrated Kennedy's July birthday and Mom's Day!
Clare helped me pack up the house while Kennedy & Cameron were at school.
She took a lot of snack breaks!
What to do after a big move?  Pack em up and go on a road trip to St Louis!
The crew eating IMOs pizza!
Party time at Nonna & Poppa's house.  Everyone had a great time
(and a little too much wine thanks to Poppa!)
 Yummy Corn!!!
Sweet Elle!  We love you and had so much fun hanging out.  See you soon!

Moving...

We're moving back to Georgia!  Matt got a new job, we sold our house, and we're packing up soon.  We're still looking for a house to buy (and don't really know where we're living in the meantime), but my Mom always says things will work out!!  (so they better, Mom, they better!)

In the meantime, the kids are unaffected by the craziness, and they continue to be happy and silly every day!
 My superheroes!

  Clare, the daredevil!

Cam's favorite spot at the Arboretum.
Kids had a rain day from school, and our sitter set up a spa for them!
Sneaking away for an ice cream cone with Mommy!
This is classic Kennedy.  She decided to sell some snacks
outside last night and sang this song to attract customers!

SURPRISE Aunt Jen!

Happy 40th Birthday to my sister Jen!  We managed to pull off a surprise trip to visit her in NH.  Just a "girls weekend"!  We had a ton of fun, and of course, the girls were in heaven.  Played and played all weekend.  Can't wait to visit in the summer for longer!

Happy Easter!

This post is a little late, but Happy Easter!  The kids had a blast over the Easter weekend, with a trip to the Arboretum, multiple egg hunts and Easter Sunday celebration at Mimi's & Pop's house.  Here's some of the highlights.  (don't look for a picture of all three together because I never got one!!)
