We took Kennedy to see Santa this weekend. Grammie Nana and Papa waited in line for us (THANK YOU!) Here's Kennedy...waiting in line. She looks very happy, right?I wondered how she would react to Santa. Once we got close enough to where she could see him, I took her out of her stroller and said, "Do you want to see Santa?" She replied, "NO!" At that point, I knew it wasn't going to be good! The minute we sat down next to Santa, the tears started pouring! Oh well...maybe next year!
After Santa, Grammie Nana and I took Kennedy to the Blabla store! Its such a sweet place, and I love seeing Kennedy's reaction to all the Blablas! She'd much rather pose with Blablas than Santa!

November Pics
Its been a long time since the last post, and we have a lot of pictures to share! Matt and I attended the Country Music Awards a few weeks ago. We had an amazing time! Here's a picture of our group with Kix Brooks of Brooks & Dunn, at his winery. All dressed up for the awards show.Kennedy got her bangs cut a couple weeks ago. It was a hard decision, but she looks adorable and can finally see without a bow! Here's the before picture...Matt started his new job in Chicago (hooray!), and we have been staying with my family while he gets settled in the new position. Kennedy is having a blast playing with all her cousins and visiting with my family. Here she is with Mr. Max...too cute!Playing on the slide and in the playhouse at Mimi & Pops.Hanging out at Maw's house.Playing with Payton and all her cousins on Thanksgiving. We went to the Zoo Lights Festival at Lincoln Park Zoo on Friday night. It was a little chilly, so we had to bundle up! Kennedy didn't seem to mind the cold weather! She better get used to it!You might be wondering what Lucky is up to during all this? Well...he made the trip to Chicago with us and is making himself right at home at Mimi & Pops. He loves playing in the backyard and has even had a few playdates with the neighbor dogs! Even with all this fun, we still miss our Georgia family & friends. We'll be back soon to catch up with ya'll! See you soon!

Trip to Chicago and Halloween
We're back! (Did you even know we were gone?!) We spent a week in Chicago...working, visiting family and having a ton of fun! The best news is that Maw is back at home! Kennedy and I slept over at her house, and she is doing great! Here's Kennedy with Mimi. Mimi was so excited to see her!!We celebrated Halloween a little early and went trick or treating on Southport. Chloe and Payton's costumes were HILARIOUS. Chloe was a flamingo and Payton was a penguin. Kennedy was a chicken! (Mimi and Pops were Mimi & Pops!)
Holding Daddy's hand. She LOVES holding Daddy's hand! Kennedy & Matt...too cute!Mimi was playing hide and seek with the kids. Mimi - I found you! Eating yummy cupcakes! Maw, you better eat your yogurt! Kennedy took over Maw's walker. Good thing Maw didn't need it!Being silly with Cooper & ClaudiaBack at Aunt Jen's house. So much fun playing with Chloe & Payton (and getting into trouble!)
Back at home for Halloween as Minnine Mouse. She liked to wear the ears, but only with her jammies, not with the costume. Oh well! Halloween night with Mary (ladybug) and Erin (duck).
The whole gang - with Robert (dog) and Jackson (monkey) Minnie & MommyMy silly girl! Trying to wear my shoes!Playing in the yard

Snickers
Matt's parents cat, Snickers, had to be put to sleep last week. Normally, I would not call myself a cat person, but I loved that sweet kitty. He lived a long and wonderful life, and I'm sure Tex & Dakota are chasing him in "animal heaven"! We will miss you Snick Snick, and I know Kennedy will miss you too!

Having Fun!
Last week, we went to the Atlanta Children's Museum with Kiera & Mary. It was so cute, and the girls really seemed to enjoy it. We spent Saturday & Sunday at Grammie Nana & Papa's house visiting with Aunt Cherie & Uncle Steve. They couldn't believe how much Kennedy has changed since July. She had a great time playing with all the Halloween decorations and following her friend Snickers (the cat)!
