Catching up!

There's not time to catch up on everything since my last post, so I'll just give some highlights. Kennedy had her tonsils and adenoids removed about 3 weeks ago. It was an awful ordeal for her (and for Mom & Dad), but she is finally recovered and back to her old self. Cameron will be 9 months tomorrow! He is an absolute riot. Gets into everything he shouldn't and just smiles the whole time. He adores his sister. She loves to call him Big Bubba and sing - "He's the man, Cameron!" He was fussy on our ride home from St Louis this weekend, so I sat next to him. He went from happy one minute to cranky the next. Love his face in the 2nd picture!Wish I could promise to blog more frequently, but these two keep me very busy! Will update when I can...

Forecast showed nice weather last Sat, so I said - "let's go to the zoo!" Kennedy was so excited to see the piggies. Guess mom should have checked to make sure the zoo had piggies (they didn't!) It was also pretty cold, but the kids didn't complain. (Matt and I did), but Kennedy and Cameron were very content!Sunday, on the other hand, was warm! 70, I think! Took the kids for their first ride together in the wagon...so cute! Kennedy & Matt enjoyed watermelon on the front porch. I can't believe how much she has changed since the first time she enjoyed watermelon on the front porch with Daddy!

Life is more fun every day with Kennedy & Cameron. As Cameron becomes more active, Kennedy becomes more interested in what he's doing. Every morning, she walks behind me as I carry him down the stairs. She smiles at him, and he has the biggest grin on his face. Its really sweet to see, and I cherish these moments! These pics came from my phone. Not the best quality, but they are still fun! Kennedy and I had a movie date last weekend. We went to see Gnomeo & Juliet, and of course, she had popcorn and an Icee!Being silly at lunch with Claudia, Cooper & MimiKennedy & Claudia - reminding me why we moved back to this COLD weather!And my happy little man eating breakfast! I love this one because it shows his chubby hand!!

Baptism celebration and a wonderful vacation!

Two weekends ago, we celebrated Cameron's baptism. It was an extra special occasion because my newest niece and goddaughter, Mackenzie, was baptized as well. My sister Jen visited for 2 weeks, and we had so much fun catching up and watching all the kids together. What a crew! Matt's family also came to town for the baptism, so overall...it was a family-packed, fun-filled weekend!!

Its impossible to believe Cameron will be 6 months next week! He is such a joy every day. Always happy, smiling and content. (well, most always!!) He is becoming so active and aware of everything that is going on around him. Loves to roll around, practice sitting up and play with his big sister Kennedy. We love you big Bubba!!

Oh Kennedy Grace...you are a crack up! My little girl keeps me laughing from the moment she gets up until she closes her eyes at night. We have been working on potty training. She is doing pretty well - thanks to her wonderful teachers at school who are SO patient with her!

Yes, we survived BLIZZARD 2011!! It wasn't quite as bad as predicted, but wow - there is a lot of snow!

Today, we closed on our home in GA. It is bittersweet for me because I loved that house! But...it is a huge relief to have it sold! Some of my favorite memories of my sweet Tex & Dakota were at this house, and I will never forget the times that we shared there with them. We brought Kennedy home from the hospital to this house and enjoyed many wonderful times there with our friends and family . Here's hoping we can find another perfect home!

I never thought I would call my son Bubba, but Matt started it, and it kind of stuck. Plus, its so cute when Kennedy calls him Bubba, or sometimes Bubby! Anyways...Cameron had his first taste of rice cereal last night and loved it! Kennedy was a great eater (when she was little), and I'm hoping Cameron will be too! 4 months and our future Olympian

Cameron turned 4 months a couple weeks ago. Its crazy that he's only been in our lives 4 months. He is a wonderful and amazing addition to our family! Kennedy adores her little brother! She's always saying "Hi Bubba! Oh Momma, he's so cute! Momma - he's laughing at me!" So sweet!

I have been terrible about taking pictures lately. When Kennedy was little, I was snapping shots every 2 minutes, so I need to get my act together with pictures of Cameron. Maybe a new camera??? (hint hint!)

Happy New Year! We had a wonderful Christmas with Matt's family in St Louis. Kennedy was HILARIOUS! Her first gift was a handmade scarf/hat from Aunt Vicki, and after she opened, she said, "this is the best Christmas ever!" She wore that scarf all night...even slept with it! Boy is it COLD!! I guess you never look forward to winters in Chicago, but we are making the best of it and looking forward to Christmas! Lots of fun to report...

Kennedy started (and ended) dance class on Sat. Let's just say she was more interested in doing her "own thing"! It was pretty hilarious to watch, but I don't think the teacher was very eager to keep her in the class. That's ok! We'll find another dance class or try something new! Here she is in her leotard!

We had a successful visit with Santa this year. Kennedy was so excited in line and jumped right into Santa's lap to tell him she wants a pink bicycle helmet for Christmas! Cameron resting up for his first visit with Santa!

Mimi bought Kennedy a gingerbread kit, so we assembled and decorated it. Well, I assembled and decorated while Kennedy ate frosting and candy!

Every day, I struggle with the house being a mess, dishes in the sink and laundry to be folded. I don't know how moms out there keep things so put together! But, then I take a look at my sweet babies and realize that it will all get done sooner or later (probably later!), and I should just enjoy my kids!!

Kennedy and I had a movie date on Sunday. We went to see Tangled and she LOVED it! She sat in awe the whole time and when it was over, she said "MORE MORE MORE"!

Its crazy to see how much she has changed since her first movie in June! My little girl is getting so big!

Cameron is probably the best baby EVER! We had a rough start the first month or so, but he is so happy and content now. He eats, he plays and he sleeps. I am a very lucky Momma!What's this dog doing in my face?!!This shirt came from my office friends. Very silly!!

My wonderful family! Two beautiful, healthy babies, a great husband and a "Lucky" dog. Two houses (ha ha) and everything we need. Life is good!Here's Cameron's 1 and 2 month photos. So...what came in the mail last week? My new camera adapter - FINALLY! I know I have a lot to catch up on, but for now, here's a pic of Dora & Boots from Halloween. Kennedy would not pose for a picture so this was the best I could get. After battling a bad cold for a few days, she was very excited to get out of the house and go "trick or treating"!

WOW! I thought time flew by when I had one baby, but it goes even faster with TWO! Cameron will be ONE MONTH old tomorrow, and its amazing how much our lives have changed in such a short time. He is such a beautiful and sweet boy. Having some sleeping issues at night, but I guess that's to be expected with a newborn. Kennedy loves her baby brother and is very sweet with him! Most of the time, she doesn't bother with him, but every so often she gives him a kiss or runs over to check on him. All in all, we are doing very well and feel so blessed to have two happy and healthy children.

We had some landscaping installed this week, and the installer told us about his 14 yr old daughter that passed away last year from H1N1 (this week is the anniversary). Kennedy had been running around the front yard (not listening) and I was getting very frustrated with her. The guy said to me, "Oh, I remember those days!" I paused for a moment and realized how fortunate we are!

I know there is a lot more to report, but there is also a sink full of dishes and a laundry room full of dirty clothes! I hope to keep this blog updated more in the future, so stay tuned for updates on our little ones!

We are very excited to announce the arrival of our son, Cameron Matthew! He arrived on 9/9 at 7:40pm. A big boy (like his sister)...8lbs, 10oz and 22 inches. Everyone is home and doing great! Kennedy was SO happy to meet her little brother!!

We didn't! Things have been a little hectic with moving, but we are finally (somewhat) settled in our new house! Just in time too...Baby #2 is coming this week! If he/she doesn't come on their own, I'll be induced on Friday. We are very excited to meet our new addition!! Stay tuned for updates.

What has Miss Kennedy been up to? Lots of fun! She has a new PINK room and sleeps in a BIG GIRL BED! She started a new school last week and loves it. The other day when I picked her up, I asked her if she liked her new school. She said, "Yes, thank you Mama!" She has been having a ball playing with her cousins, now that we live so close. She says she is ready for her new brother or sister, but I don't think she has any clue what's coming. I know she will be a wonderful big sister when the baby arrives!

I wish I could post all the great pictures I have taken, but I still don't have a camera adapter. I ordered a new one, I swear, but when it came, it was not compatible with my camera :( So...we wait for the new one to arrive. We took our annual trip to the Lake of the Ozarks to spend the 4th with Matt's family. It was a LONG drive but worth it! We had a wonderful time, and Kennedy had a BLAST! Its unbelievable that Kennedy will be 2 in a month! WOW, how the time flies. Every day is an adventure with her. She is so dramatic (not sure where she gets that!) and amazes me with her words and imagination.

Great news...I think we may have FINALLY parted with the pacifer! Luckily, while I was out of town, Mimi put her to bed without the "pai" (as Kennedy likes to call it) and we haven't seen it since. Whew, thanks Mimi! Here's some fun pics from the past week or so...

First MOVIE!

For Father's Day, Matt wanted to take Kennedy to the movies. I thought it was a little risky, but we did it! Kennedy was so excited! "Movies Daddy, Movies - Toy Story!" We got to the theatre for the 10:30am showing of Toy Story 3, only to find out that it didn't start until 11:30 (oops to me!)

So...we bought our tickets and then killed an hour. She wasn't as excited when we arrived back at the theatre, but that all changed when the big bag of popcorn arrived and I let her hold my large cherry icee! She loved sitting in the seat by herself and was amazed by the big screen and all the previews. She almost made it through the whole movie, but melted down about 5 minutes before it ended. All in all, it was a great time, and I think we can try it again (just make sure Dad double checks the movie time!)

Now I remember why we wanted to move back to Chicago! Back in January/February, I was questioning our sanity, but now that the weather is nice, its good to be back!

Kennedy had a fun time with her cousins on Friday. They all get along so well and love to play together. Here they are enjoying some McDonalds at the park.Saturday, we celebrated Coo-Coo's Christmas. You may be thinking...what the heck is Coo-Coo's Christmas? Coo-Coo is my aunt (her real name is Cindy) and every year she has everyone over to exchange silly gifts. She used to have it around Christmas, but with everyone's crazy schedules, it somehow shifted to June. Coo-Coo had a great setup for all the kids...2 swimming pools, a slide, countless toys, juice boxes and even special suprises in the basement. Kennedy was the first to arrive and didn't waste any time getting into her suit and trying out the pool.After swimming for awhile, she decided she wanted to put her dress back on. She was done swimming...until all the kids got back in! She pulled off her dress and back in she went. I was too lazy to put her suit back on, so here she is!Sunday, we headed down to my sisters to go to Mayfest, a German festival in Lincoln Square. It was a nice walk from their house, but as soon as we arrived, the rain started! Luckily, they had a huge tent with entertainment. Kennedy and Chloe danced forever while Uncle Scott & Pops decided they needed to try the "boot of beer"!!Pops bought all the girls ice cream bars for the walk home. As you can see, Kennedy really enjoyed it!!

The other day, Kennedy decided she wanted to play outside in her tutu...ONLY her tutu! She is so funny!We had a great Memorial Day weekend with our friends Matt & Melanie. They have Brody who is 2 1/2, and Kennedy had a blast playing with him. They were so cute together! The Browns are expecting #2 in a couple weeks. Good luck and come visit us soon!

We had our first "summer-like" weekend in Chicagoland, and I can tell that Kennedy is ready for the nice weather! We had a great time hanging out with the Babbs on Saturday and meeting sweet little Alexis! Kennedy and Braden took a trip to the park with their dads, and Matt sent me this hilarious picture. (Can you see the beers in the cup holders?!)

First trip to Rainbow Cone

Growing up, we made many trips to the Original Rainbow Cone for ice cream http://www.rainbowcone.com/Rainbow1/Home.html. Sometimes, we'd get to go in our pajamas, which we thought was very fun! We'd get our cones and then sit outside in the parking lot and eat them. Those were the good old days!

Matt & I took Kennedy for her first Rainbow cone yesterday. The orginal Ranbow cone includes lots of flavors - orange sherbert, pistachio, palmer house, strawberry & chocolate. You have to try it to know how good it is (and being pregnant doesn't hurt either!) For her first visit, Kennedy had a plain vanilla cone, but she didn't seem to mind. She loved it!

Pregnancy Brain!

Oh, did I forget to mention that I am PREGNANT?!! We met some friends for dinner last night, and they had no idea that we are expecting another baby! So...I thought I should make some sort of official announcement on the blog! YES, we are expecting again! I am almost 23 weeks and feeling great, except for some terrible pain in my lower back and leg :( We don't know the sex, but we're thinking BOY. Who knows? We'll be very happy with either! I don't think that Kennedy has any idea what's going on, but she loves to touch my belly and say BABY!

I am also excited to announce that we found a house!! We still haven't sold our house in Atlanta, but with another baby on the way, we need a place to live! Its needs a little TLC, and we hope to be able to close soon to start renovations. Will keep you posted on the progress...

Back to the pregnancy brain...I misplaced my camera adapter AGAIN! The following pics are from my phone, and let's hope I can find that adapter again soon! The first two are from our road trip back to GA. Kennedy was a trooper the whole trip. She enjoyed our dinner stops. Easter Festivities

We had a blast celebrating Easter with Kennedy this year! Sat, we went to an egg hunt where the kids got to decorate their own buckets, hunt for eggs, and (most fun for Kennedy), eat donuts and drink juice boxes!Kennedy loved decorating easter eggs. She kept saying, "Mama, more eggs! Mama, more eggs!"Easter morning, she was very excited to see Thumper in her basket! The weather was perfect for all the kids to play outside and hunt for eggs. They played for hours. Kennedy went to bed at 6:30pm and slept until 7:30am!

Since Kennedy LOVES pancakes, the event was a huge hit!While I was out of town for work, Matt & Kennedy took another trip to St Louis, and Kennedy spent the day at the Magic House. She had a ton of fun exploring. She also had an easter egg hunt! Back home, we've been enjoying the beautiful weather and spending lots of time outdoors. Kennedy would stay outside all day if she could! Loves to ride on her motorcycle and play on the slide!!

So, I feel like a terrible mother. I still haven't found my camera adapter, and I haven't posted any new pics in a long time. I'm very sorry! Work is consuming my life right now, but after March, things should return to normal!! And...I promise to get a new camera adapter!

What has Kennedy been up to? Talking, talking, talking. She is talking so much! OK Mama. OK Dada. Night night Mama. Night night Dada. Mama - I pooped. Mama - I'm wet! Go DG! (her word for doggie) These are just a few of her favorite sayings!

She had her first Pop's milkshake the other day. I had to pry it out of her hands!

Last weekend, Chloe & Payton came to stay at Mimi's, and the girls had so much fun. They played and played and played. Kennedy calls both of them Pay Pay, but they don't seem to mind!

Almost 18 months!

I can't believe Kennedy will be 18 months in a couple days. WOW! I misplaced my camera adapter, so these pics were taken on my phone. Not the best quality but shows you what she's been up to the last couple weeks. Mealtime has become QUITE the challenge with Kennedy. She has no interest in many of the things she used to love to eat, and she is constantly throwing her food, bowls, cups and utensils. Good thing there are 3 dogs to clean up the mess!!!She loves going to daycare, and there's no more tears when we drop her off!

We're finally adjusting to the cold temperatures here in Chicago. What do you do when its FREEZING outside? Take the kids to play at IKEA!!! We took all the cousins to IKEA the other day, and they had a ball playing with all the toys!

Hopefully I will find my camera adapter and post some more pics soon!!!

Opening presents! Dancing at lunch! We had another Christmas celebration in Chicago with my family. Maw bought Kennedy a motorcycle, and she was wild about it! She kept pushing Maw away saying "Mine"! With Aunt Jen!We're getting settled in Chicago, and Kennedy started a new daycare on Monday. She seems to love it, and the teachers are really sweet. (We still miss you, Katie!) Will post more updates soon!

We took Kennedy to see Santa this weekend. Grammie Nana and Papa waited in line for us (THANK YOU!) Here's Kennedy...waiting in line. She looks very happy, right?I wondered how she would react to Santa. Once we got close enough to where she could see him, I took her out of her stroller and said, "Do you want to see Santa?" She replied, "NO!" At that point, I knew it wasn't going to be good! The minute we sat down next to Santa, the tears started pouring! Oh well...maybe next year!
After Santa, Grammie Nana and I took Kennedy to the Blabla store! Its such a sweet place, and I love seeing Kennedy's reaction to all the Blablas! She'd much rather pose with Blablas than Santa!

Its been a long time since the last post, and we have a lot of pictures to share! Matt and I attended the Country Music Awards a few weeks ago. We had an amazing time! Here's a picture of our group with Kix Brooks of Brooks & Dunn, at his winery.All dressed up for the awards show.Kennedy got her bangs cut a couple weeks ago. It was a hard decision, but she looks adorable and can finally see without a bow! Trip to Chicago and Halloween

We're back! (Did you even know we were gone?!) We spent a week in Chicago...working, visiting family and having a ton of fun! The best news is that Maw is back at home! Kennedy and I slept over at her house, and she is doing great! Here's Kennedy with Mimi. Mimi was so excited to see her!!We celebrated Halloween a little early and went trick or treating on Southport. Chloe and Payton's costumes were HILARIOUS. Chloe was a flamingo and Payton was a penguin. Kennedy was a chicken! (Mimi and Pops were Mimi & Pops!)

Matt's parents cat, Snickers, had to be put to sleep last week. Normally, I would not call myself a cat person, but I loved that sweet kitty. Last week, we went to the Atlanta Children's Museum with Kiera & Mary. It was so cute, and the girls really seemed to enjoy it. We spent Saturday & Sunday at Grammie Nana & Papa's house visiting with Aunt Cherie & Uncle Steve. They couldn't believe how much Kennedy has changed since July. She had a great time playing with all the Halloween decorations and following her friend Snickers (the cat)!

Lucky also had an exciting weekend. He went to play with all his furry friends while we were gone. Here he is last night...passed out on the couch!

Trip to Dallas and walking for Paw

Last week, Kennedy and I went to Dallas with Matt. We stayed with our friends the Dennetts. Its been a couple months since Kennedy and Carsen have seen each other. They immediately started playing together...so cute! The night we arrived, they took turns pushing each other around in the Cozy Coupe. They enjoyed many meals (and snacks) together! Carsen was always sharing his food!Kennedy woke up earlier than Carsen, so she would watch cartoons in his chair!BATHTIME is so much more fun with a friend. (Don't let Matt see these pics!)Playing at the mall. Mom's didn't even get to shop...boy, how times have changed!On our last night, the whole gang met for pizza at Fireside Pies...yum! Bla Bla and the "Lucky" Dog

As many of you know, Bla Bla is Kennedy's dolly, one that she LOVES very much. Bla goes everywhere with us! It turns out that there is a Blabla store in Atlanta! We went there today, and it was so amazing! They have so many different dolls and the CUTEST clothes! We found out that Kennedy's doll is named April, but we'll stick with Bla Bla.

Matt hesitated to take us...thinking that I was secretly plotting to get Kennedy another doll. To his suprise, we were able to leave without a new dolly for Kennedy, but she did get the sweet sweater and hat she's wearing in the pictures. We bought a special dolly for someone, but I can't spoil the suprise!

And now...onto the story about the "Lucky" dog. I received a call this week from Brittany Rescue. A wonderful lady picked up a stray Britt in Canton, GA, and they needed to find him a foster home asap. I was a little apprehensive at first, but it just felt like the right thing to do. So...we brought home this sweet boy and are calling him Lucky. He is doing really well and having a ton of fun at our house! If you know of anyone looking for a wonderful dog, tell them about Lucky! You can expect more posts about Lucky in the future. Stay tuned...

Friday night, we finally got to hear The Tim Tyler Band. They were great, and we had a fun night out with friends! We played in the backyard forever on Sunday! Its been a couple weeks since I posted. Let's see...what have we done? Last weekend, we went to Charleston, and Matt and I had a day/night out! We went shopping, took a carriage tour in downtown Charleston and went out for a very nice dinner. Here's a picture of us on the rooftop bar at the Market Pavilion Hotel. We had a great time but couldn't wait to get back to see Kennedy. She stayed with Grammie Nana and Papa, and they all had a great time too!Matt and Kennedy - ready to go to the pool - doing a little dancing!Hanging out at the pool!Sunday night, we went to a beer/wine tasting, and Kennedy had a ball. Every time I open the freezer, she goes straight for the box. Kennedy loves watermelon, but up until now, she's only had bite-sized pieces. My family came to visit last week. My Mom and Dad and sisters drove all the way from Chicago with 5 kids, all under the age of 5! All the kids showed up ready to go! We had such a great time hanging out, shopping, and eating! Have you ever tried to feed 6 kids at once? You should have seen my kitchen after every meal. It was an adventure, but we LOVED it! The house is so quiet now that they are gone. Come back soon...we miss you already!

I wrote this post last night, thinking about what we were doing exactly one year ago. Matt and I were at Northside Hospital, waiting for our little one to arrive. We sat in that room for an entire day...waiting and waiting and waiting. Until finally, at 5:38pm, Kennedy Grace arrived! From that moment on, our lives would never be the same. Our little girl is the most amazing gift we could ever imagine. We love you, dolly girl...Happy 1st Birthday!

A year ago, we lost our wonderful friends, Tex and Dakota. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think about them and miss them. We wish that Kennedy could have met them. I tell her about them all the time...how fun and silly they were. We point to their picture in her room every night, and it makes me feel like she understands. They will always be our first "babies", and I know they are now our angels, watching over us from heaven. We love you boys, and miss you SO VERY MUCH!

Weekend with the Dennett Family!

The Dennett's came to visit this past weekend, and (of course) we had a BLAST! Kennedy and Carsen finally got to spend time together. They were hilarious. Carsen loves to show affection, and Kennedy was the lucky recipient of all his hugs and kisses! Don't worry, Matt was ok with it!

Friday night, the four of us went out and left the kids at home. Its been so long since we all had dinner together...too long! Travis named the "best ever" fried chicken at South City Kitchen. As you can see...he REALLY liked it!

Carsen snuck out on the splash pad while Kennedy was sleeping. The water was a little cold, but he still had a good time. I think he was missing Kennedy though! They made up for it by taking a bath together before bed.

Sadly, they went back home on Monday. On the way to airport, we stopped for lunch, where Travis had the "best ever" fried chicken sandwich. Hope to see you again soon...hopefully when little Chloe arrives. Thanks for coming...we miss you!

Kennedy is 11 months old today! Gosh, how time flies. She amazes us every day and continues to keep us on our toes. You can't leave her for 1 second (or even half a second). She is so fast and curious about everything. The stairs are her FAVORITE trick these days. We've blocked access from the family room to the stairs, but she's already figured out that she can take the long way and go through the kitchen and dining room. We had another fun-filled week! Kennedy played with friends and had a alot more fun on her splash pad. I think this was a good investment!!

Kennedy rarely sits still for me to take pictures any more. So...I have to be ready when the opportunity comes. She's watching something on tv. I thought this was so sweet!!

We had a playdate this week with Mary, Jackson & Caroline. They all had a great time! Caroline is still too small to play in the water, but maybe next year!!

On Friday, we took a drive to Arkansas to be with our friend Amanda. Her dad past away last week :( Kennedy was a trooper all the way. Here she is sleeping with Blah Blah in her big girl carseat.

Kennedy and Mary starting swimming lessons yesterday. It was hilarious to see the girls in their swimsuits. They had a great time!

In case you were wondering...Matt came home with an Elmo for Kennedy! It was so sweet! Thanks Daddy!
We had a busy weekend! Friday, we met some friends for dinner and brought all the kids. It was fun! Kennedy, Mary, Erin, Addison & Jackson all behaved very well. Afterwards, Mary & Addison came over to play - well...parents played while Kennedy & Mary went to sleep!
Kennedy turned 7 months on Saturday! We took her to get her a haircut at Snip-its. She was very curious about what the lady was doing. She kept turning her head around to see what was going on.

We had a play date today at Mary's house. We had so much fun playing with all Mary's toys, especially ELMO! Daddy - can I get an Elmo too??!!! Please!!!!!!

We had a busy week! Kennedy stayed at Grammie Nana & Grandpa's house while I went out of town for work. It was 3 LONG days without Kennedy! I think everyone was sick of me pulling out my photo album to show them pictures! On Saturday, we welcomed a new "furry friend" into our family. Her name is Brandy! She's a 3 1/2 year old Brittany and such a sweet girl. I'm sure there will be many posts about Kennedy & Brandy in the weeks ahead. Kennedy thinks Brandy is very funny and is always watching to see what she's doing.

We had alot of fun this past week! Kennedy had a play date with her friends Mary & Addison. It was so fun to see them playing together!

Mary brought Kennedy an adorable shirt as a Valentine's gift, and she couldn't wait to put it on!

We had a sleepover at Grammie Nana & Grandpa's house. Kennedy had a great time, as usual!
She tried out her new walker. She was only able to move backwards, but it won't be long until she's cruising around!

Kennedy did NOT want to nap today, so I broke down and put her in "the old swing" (her favorite place to nap)! Unfortunately, the swing only goes up to 25lbs. Only 5 more pounds, and its BYE BYE swing! That will be a very sad day! Until then, we'll try to enjoy it as much as possible! As long as she's sleeping at night, she can nap wherever she wants!!!

Kennedy loved the Jumperoo while we were in Chicago, so we HAD to get her one. Here she is...having so much fun!And...she had sweet potatoes for the first time tonight. Watch her eyebrow go up after she has her first bite - so funny!

Happy New Year! I know, a little late. We just returned from our holiday trip to Chicago, and Miss Kennedy is recovering from a bad cold that took us to the ER on Sunday. We had a lot of fun visiting with the family, celebrating the holidays and Kennedy's baptism. Here's some pics...

Kennedy spent a few days at Grammie Nana and Grandpa's house this week. She had a great time! As you can see, she has found her toes, and her hands are just about always in her mouth!

Well...we just got back from another fun-filled trip to Chicago. Matt had to go to Mexico for work, so Kennedy and I went to Chicago so I could work in the office and she could see her family! A couple exciting things happened while we were gone. Kennedy rolled over for the 1st time AND she got her first haircut! (nothing major, just a trim!)

We had a great time, but I just realized that I didn't take many pictures :( Here's some funny shots of all the cousins...we tried to get them all together for a cute Christmas photo, but it didn't work. Will we EVER learn?!! You'll notice that Claudia is missing from these pics. Poor Claudia did not want to have her picture taken!

I'm beginning to like cereal!
